Chakra - Third Eye and Crown

Chevron Amethyst, also known as Dog Tooth Amethyst, is the name given to naturally occurring Amethyst and White Quartz in a banded or “V” pattern. This variety of Amethyst is found in India, Russia, and Brazil.

As well as sharing the same energies and vibrations of normal Amethyst, Chevron Amethyst is far stronger and more powerful when working with our higher chakras. This variety of Amethyst specifically focuses on the third eye and crown chakras, activating and linking the two together.

This stone combines the enhancing and strengthening qualities of a Quartz with the stress-relieving qualities of an Amethyst.

History

A combination of amethyst and white quartz, the Chevron Amethyst is a rare gemstone that is often found in a V shape or pattern. Combined over years of high density pressure, the Chevron Amethyst forges energies of quartz with the royal deep purples of amethyst.

It is known in many cultures to have healing properties and is associated with the third eye or being able to view the future. It is believed to be a highly spiritual stone, which is a great tool for lifting the veil that obscures the meaning of life. When you’re around the energies of this stone, you will gain more wisdom, and you will have most of the answers that you are searching for.
